With Resin Set brushes, each individual tuft is stapled into the brush back with the food grade stainless steel staples and after that the Epoxy Resin is floated in.
As a result the resin permeates the bottom of the tuft hole, covering the filaments and staples as it goes.
The resin seals the face of the brush ... this secures the filaments and prevents the accumulation of dirt and moisture in the tuft holes.
Although many years of hygiene brush manufacturing experience ensures excellent bristle retention, sometimes we need that extra protection by using resin to set around each bristle clump.
This method doubles the assurance of food safe tools ... bristles can't get out and unwanted particles won't stay in.
The resin used in our brushes is anti-microbial and is free of crevices and contamination traps e.g. use of smooth welds, absence of small holes, recesses, and sharp internal angles
• a smooth surface finish (Ra < 0.8μm)
• easy to clean (and dry) e.g. quick and easy to dismantle/re-assemble, or of one piece construction, or with easy access to all areas for cleaning and disinfection
• made of food safe materials e.g. no wood or glass, non-toxic • well constructed e.g. durable, no foamed materials, not painted or coated
• appropriately temperature and chemical resistant
